Title: Radiation-induced correlations in ultracold droplets

Abstract:

The project's focus is the dynamics of atomic and molecular complexes in ultracold helium droplets, which allows the preparation far above equilibrium. Especially important are relaxation processes and correlations triggered by radiation fields on a femtosecond time scale. This includes the correlated electronic and vibrational excitation dynamics of molecular complexes as well as the spectroscopic detection and eventually the control of correlations in an excited metastable complex of metal atoms.
