SPP 2102 "Light controlled reactivity of metal complexes"
Annual Meeting from March 29 -31 in Rostock
"Photochemistry of Metal Complexes. Theory Meets Experiment"
organized by the Dynamics of Molecular Systems and Molecular Quantum Dynamics groups
The DFG priority programme SPP 2102 aims at the development of rational design concepts for new functional photoactive metal complexes. At the core of the programme is the fundamental understanding of photoinduced metal-centred processes and the dynamics of electronically excited states of metal complexes [more info]. At the workshop recent results and progress in design, theoretical description, and understanding of the photophysics and photochemistry of metal complexes will be presented and discussed by members of the SPP 2102 as well as external guests. The focus will be on how theory can help to interpret and understand experimental results. The programme is complemented by a tutorial on theoretical spectroscopy, a workshop on Mental Health, as well as lab tours.
Invited Speakers
- Stefan Haacke, University of Strasbourg
- Henrik Junge, LIKAT Rostock
- Pápai Mátyás, Wigner Research Centre for Physics, Budapest
- Michael Odelius, Stockholm University
